BioFuels Energy produces renewable energy and reduces greenhouse gas emissions, by transforming biomethane gas into Mobile Renewable Energy. The flow diagram depicts the BioFuels Mobile Renewable Energy process.
Biomethane Gas Clean-up: The BioFuels process centers around collecting biomethane from gas source sites, purifying and condensing the biomethane. Biomethane gas is created through the anaerobic (oxygen-free) degradation process that occurs to waste stored in municipal solid waste landfills, wastewater treatment plants and anaerobic digesters from dairy/cattle and food operations.
Transportation and Delivery of Renewable Gas: The cleaned biomethane is then shipped, either via tube trailers or natural gas pipelines, to off-site customers for use as alternative energy source replacing fossil fuels.
Generation of Renewable Energy: Once the purified biomethane arrives at BioFuels’ customer’s site, the product can be used in clean-burning fuel cells producing energy for the customer, input directly into customers existing power generation units and/or used as CNG to provide fuel for vehicles.
Customer Site Application: Thus, BioFuels’ customers enjoy the benefits of clean renewable energy at a cost savings from utilizing the power off of the electrical grid, natural gas, and/or purchase of diesel fuel.
Potential Customers
BioFuels’ potential customers consist of any consumer who uses at least 800 kW of baseload energy demand, purchases over 10,000 mmbtu’s of natural gas per year. Furthermore, the customers must be aiming to lower their emissions through green measures, cut down utility costs, generate positive publicity and reduce dependency on the electrical grid. BioFuels supplies the equipment and build-out, while its customers experience the benefits.
